It performs seafaring tasks of accepting and mooring ships in the marina, and keeping ships at berth, controls the condition of mooring lines and other equipment on the piers, keeps records of the number of vessels in the marina. He takes care of the navigable part of the marina, paints the entrance doors on the piers and other equipment, controls the flagpoles and lubricates them. Informs superiors about any incidents and problems in the navigable part of the marina that require professional qualification to eliminate the situation
